The Ghana Women and Youth Employment and Social Cohesion (GWYESCO) Programme is a flagship initiative of the Government of Ghana, supported by the African Development Bank (AfDB/Bank), aimed at tackling youth unemployment, fragility, and gender inequalities, while promoting inclusive growth and social cohesion.
The Programme will be implemented over the period 2026-2029 across the Central and Eastern Regions of Ghana, and the Northern Region consisting of Upper East, Upper West, Savannah, North-East, and the Northern Region of Ghana.
Implementing Partners (IPs) under the Ghana Women and Youth Employment and Social Cohesion (GWYESCO) Programme are competitively selected institutions responsible for delivering programme activities at national, regional, and district levels.
These partners may include civil society organizations, private sector firms, training institutions, financial service providers, business development service (BDS) providers, and relevant public institutions.
